What I have been reading - 8th May 2022

Here is a selection of what I enjoyed reading recently:

The Rich and The Wealthy: Wise wise words from Morgan Housel. Everyone should understand the story of the Vanderbilts.

Why the past 10 years of American life have been uniquely stupid: A long but thought-provoking read by Jonathan Haidt.

The Privilege to Take Risks: This is a good article for the younger readers. "If you're young, unburdened financially, and don't have any dependents, there has never been a better time to take a risk and bet on yourself."

This is Average: Just a reminder that the current market movements are totally normal.

It's less complicated than you think: I am always beating this drum, clients and long-time readers know that. But it's always good to read about it in someone else's words.

103 Bit of Advice I wish I Had Known: There are some good ones in here.

I don't know: I have said those three words a lot recently, but ironically most people seem more certain about the future than ever before.

FINALLY:
10 Practical Ways to Improve Happiness: Don't leave your happiness up to chance.

ENJOY!
