What I have been reading - 16th March 2020

Gosh, there is so much going on right now. Here’s what caught my eye this week.

Should I buy stocks now?:  I love 'ofdollarsanddata' because he answers this question with data, not with emotion.

Common Enemies:  A wonderfully thoughtful piece that looks at the Second World War and puts a few things into perspective.

Returns from the bottom of bear markets:  Wondering what happens after the bottom?  Here are the figures from history.

Fed fired Bazooka at Coronavirus:  I don't tend to place too much on economist predictions, but I do particularly like Brian Wesbury at First Trust.  He makes some great points in this short piece.

Do not sell: If I didn't make it clear in my post, please read this.  I hope you are not offended by an expletive.

Howard Marks weekly update: Howard Marks of Oaktree Capital is a voice of reason.  Fast forward to the bottom half of page 6.

FINALLY:
Coronavirus may finally force business to adopt workplaces of the future:  From Fortune: 'The conoravirus crisis may be the nudge that companies need to let go of outdated polices and practices - and discover that working differently can be advantageous for everyone involved.'

Stay safe and healthy.
